It's all fun and games until somebody loses an eye

I'm definitely with you on Hawkeye.

(Although, perhaps I should rephrase that...)

Pete Duel - definitely yes. And Scott Tracy from Thunderbirds.

I was very upset by the death of Pete (Never Got The Hang Of A) Duel. His was the first celebrity suicide I knew about.

Never had a crush on him, though. No siree, Bob!

"Erin Walton"

*cocks an inquisitive eyebrow*

One of the Banana Splits, and some ginger haired girl with a pony tail at school.

clair - Alan Alda... I think I still would. Is that very wrong?

Duck - Scott Tracey??? Well, it's better than 'Fred from Scooby Doo' I suppose...

geoff - Protesting too much? I remember it was Wendy McHale who broke the news about Pete Duel. A bit too gleefully. She loved bad news that girl.

VS - Oh come on now, Erin was THE Walton to fancy, surely?

Betty - "one of the banana splits", don't be coy - name names!

Um, Snorky, the supposed elephant. Not the one that looks like Alan Carr.

Betty, that's brilliant. I've been trying to work out who Alan Carr reminds me of. Yes!

I loved Alan Alda and Pete Duel (I still like Alan Alda - he's so smart and funny). I had many strange crushes as a girl - Tom Watson the golfer (he seemed like such a gentleman), Melvyn Bragg (he presented a programme about books - what's not to like?) and others too embarrassing to mention. (Erin was the only cool Walton, if the words "cool" and "Walton" can be used in the same sentence).

J - re Erin Walton - exactly!

And I just remembered, I had a crush on Sandy out of Crossroads. Before and after 'the accident'. It doesn't get more embarrassing than that, surely?
