Oh heck, it's all coming back to me now, although I didn't know what it was when I saw the title. I seem to remember it getting played a lot on the radio in the mid-seventies (Noel Edmonds?), one of those radio hits that sold hardly anything.

Oh no - 'They Shoot Horses...' was just dreary. Coming next: "Ten to Eight" by David Castle.
