We did Filey in the late 70s and early 80s. It was where I learned the word 'chalet'. I also remember a massive dining hall (or maybe it was a restaurant). In those days, Ted Bovis was glamour.

In the 60's it would've been a dining hall - I don't think they did 'restaurants' in those days. My favourite was the haiwaian(sp?) bar, ...but maybe there's a whole post in that!
