It's all fun and games until somebody loses an eye |
Keeping an eye on your weight is slightly misleading. As you burn fat, you put on muscle, which weighs almost as much. Go for measuring by waistline - a much better yardstick. A bit of a dry post, but hey - with my rationale, you are more toned, and thinner! Can't be bad. |
I was the same, didn't lose weight for a couple of weeks but my trousers kept falling down... |
Muscle weighs more, which actually puts weight on. |
It's rowing machines all the way for me. Exercise bikes are just too darned boring. |
Mr Glide I am with the 'more toned and thinner' concept, ditto Murph with the 'muscle is heavier' cop out. |
Muscle really IS heavier! |
Muscle weighs more than fat. Dont forget! |
MB & DD - I know the *theory* about the muscle/fat thing, but it just SOUNDS so much like a 'cheat'. |
