It's all fun and games until somebody loses an eye

Keeping an eye on your weight is slightly misleading. As you burn fat, you put on muscle, which weighs almost as much. Go for measuring by waistline - a much better yardstick. A bit of a dry post, but hey - with my rationale, you are more toned, and thinner! Can't be bad.

I was the same, didn't lose weight for a couple of weeks but my trousers kept falling down...

Good if you are a clown, bad if doing a presentation for the board...

Muscle weighs more, which actually puts weight on.
Pro Biotic Yoghurt is so much better than that amateur stuff though...

It's rowing machines all the way for me. Exercise bikes are just too darned boring.

Lurve the Lemonheads.

Mr Glide I am with the 'more toned and thinner' concept, ditto Murph with the 'muscle is heavier' cop out.

Gordon, I will bear the trouser issue in mind, but I don't think I'm 'there' yet.

Timbo - how can rowing machines be any less dull than exercise bikes? Or can you prop a book up on one and read while you do it?

Muscle really IS heavier!

Muscle weighs more than fat. Dont forget!
Oh wait.. everyone else has already mentioned it.
Damn i'm dull!

MB & DD - I know the *theory* about the muscle/fat thing, but it just SOUNDS so much like a 'cheat'.

Anyway, I *still* weigh exactly the same as I did 2 weeks ago.
