It's all fun and games until somebody loses an eye

Indeed, Beth, indeed.

So incredibly self-deluded that they really feel that they are the successes they profess to be. So arrogantly, utterly, awfully, but probably only ostensibly ambitious that they will happily back-stab and weasel any remaining scruples away for the chance to suckle at the slightly shoddy, consumer-electronic teat of Amstrad. They are everything that is wrong with the world, with Homo sapiens, with us.

The snidey bastards do make for compelling viewing though.

By the way, last time I commented, I said "I might" on The National. I did. I haven't been disappointed. You may consider me a convert and you may consider this an excuse to reprise them. Go on, I haven't seen them on your list in a while.

I'm currently wiping the bile from my screen. Nicholas De Poncey is an utter buffoon.

But thankfully, voted off :D

Mr Trousers - I am sooooo glad you have enjoyed The National. I have been restricting myself to listening to them in the bath lately (too much information?) as I was coming perilously close to overdosing.

Mr Wib - I'd like to think he's a harmless buffoon, but am a little scared that he might NOT be forced to seek humble but worthy employment in a safe environment where he can do no harm and will probably end up in politics.

Ms Cow - Do you think though, that in the weeks to come we will look back at him and think, 'actually, he wasn't that bad'...?
