It's all fun and games until somebody loses an eye

That's it - I'll have to read the Pie book now (I was putting it off because I thought it might be disappointing after the Cider book, but now I just want to read it anyway).

I though he was very good on Leeds - but what do I know?

I'm was happy with Wigan and Skem in 'Cider', but got a bit bored with some of the places I didn't know in 'Pies'.

Although when I say 'bored' it's only relative.

Aaaaahhhh! Elidor!

Silver Lining - Yes, and 'Red Shift' as well.

Kaz - I thought he was very good on Leeds too. Maybe I liked it so much because there weren't that many places I didn't either already know or already have an opinion on?

J - I could lend it to you, I'm sure The Wanderer wouldn't mind!

That'd be good. Is he a happy Wanderer then? (I think The Weirdstone is still my favourite, although I liked the others as well. The Owl Service was scary and I didn't really understand Red Shift at the time).

j - he should be happy, he's having a six month sabbatical to go off travelling. (Although, if his actual aim is to go off and re-create the Pie book I suppose he might be wanting it back - best check first!)
