You're right about London though. London people are mainly pretentious and look down at us pondlife.

I know what you mean about all the posh people - Amsterdam has that too (which is why I like Rotterdam better - people here are generally known for their work ethic and brutal honesty)
If it makes you feel any better, I would have had seconds too. Maybe even thirds.

Akelamalu- I did look good. But Minnie Driver has got better legs!
Vanilla- I wanted my money's worth, dammit- nothing was gonna stop me from enjoying it all!
Ann- Is it bad to be a young version of you? I would think not.
This is when I really believe I was born in the wrong place. People in my country are just mad about losing weight when they look good enough really.
Unfortunately, I'm naturally big-boned and very short (even worse!), which makes me look just short and plump. I gave up trying to look 'decent' long time ago because I knew I could never achieve that. Two doctors back home told me I was overweight even before I put on many kilos here...
But now I'm currently in the UK. Here I'm not skinny, but not overweight either! I'd better enjoy the remaining few months...
BTW, if by any chance you view my profile, don't be fooled my the picture. That was taken 3 years ago when I was in a better shape! (Oh! How deceiving! That's the magic of virtual world...)

Nic- When my doctor told me I was overweight, I took a long, hard look at myself. I am a size 12-14, eat my 5 fruit and veg a day, exercise three or four times a week... I am what I am! And you are what you are. Thanks for sharing your story with me.

It's not just London... I live in the U.S. and there is too much "poshness" here too. As for the thinness... I can't argue that in our favor. People here are either anorexic or obese... and those that are in the middle are constantly attacked by the media saying that they should be skinnier. Ah. I would have eaten sandwiches and scones and cakes (mini or not!) too. =)
