This is precisely why I am often so frustrated that so many voters take today's liberal-dominated Democratic Party so seriously.
They attack Bush and the Republicans with the most outrageous accusations and criticisms, but when it comes time to advance their own solutions, what they deliver is pure "mares-eat-oats-and-does-eat-oats" idiocy predicated on the belief that all inevitable, very likely and potential problems will leave them alone, and therefore need not even be considered.
