I do not know the exact source of the photo. I searched \"photos of angora goats\" and this was the best and most attractive photo I found.

My grandmother raised Angora goats to shear as a cash crop (like \"butter and egg money\" - only more lucrative). But for a number of years my mother maintained a couple of Toggenberg nannies. My two younger siblings were intolerant to cow's milk so Mother put them on goat milk per Doctor's orders. They thrived very well.Mother became a vocal advocate of the advantages of goat milk.

I thought the Toggenberg nannies the most beautiful of the milk goats available in our area. I milked the nannies before school each morning and in the evening after school. Milking the nannies was a bit different from milking the cows due to the difference in size of the teats. And only two versus four. $\"\"$

We adored the kids when they came. They were a source of great amusement and the little ones could climb ANYTHING! It was common to find them atop the car roofs. I like milk goats.
