WOW, that is what comes to mind after our first class. I feel the challenge already!

Thanks for being such an AWESOME vessel that God uses!

Gravatar I went to your site to see the pictures of Avi and found this, what a gift to us. Your thoughts are very provoking. If there are more answers where God is concerned re our circumstances, how do we determine what His answer is to us on how to proceed if there are so many answers even from Him? I guess I've set my brain to search for the "true" answer not trusting the other inputs I come up with. I'd love to read your response. Thanks for this site. You are truly used by God to cause our minds to be less lethargic.

Gravatar Ditto to you Dawn... You are the provocative one...

For starters... I don't consider myself to have anywhere near "all" the answers... and some days I feel as though I have less than more... And on most days... it seems I have more questions than I do answers.

Yet could it be that sometimes simmering somewhere deep inside the question - is the answer. An answer that penetrates deeper than the answer we were hoping for... Questions take us deeper beneath all the superficial venere that rests on the surface...

In regards to the "second right answers" and looking for more than one... we're talking primarily as it relates to our perspective on things - specifically in the creative thinking side of things...

...but nonetheless, you raise a thought-filled question...

Could God have more than one answer for our particular circumstances...? and if so, "how are we to proceed?"

This is by no means a "one-size-fits-all." But it seems that when we're faced with challenging circumstances or situations that these are the times that we are most prone to ask specific-&-directional questions. As if the specific-direction will take care of the challenging circumstance for us...

No doubt we do need specific-clear-direction from God. He did say (in Isaiah) that we "would hear a voice behind us, saying 'this is the way walk in it.'" And we should pursue that 'voice."

Yet, at the same times... if we "step back" in these times and circumstances when we are most prone to ask those 'directive' questions of the Lord - it could be that the lesser of our need is a 'directional word from the Lord."

Rather, it seems that, more often than not, what is most needed is the "Gift of Perspective." The ability to step back - and see the 'Big Picture' from a perspective bigger and broader than ours...

And... it seems that during these moments of a broader scope of things - that we begin to see multiple facets of what is really going on... how it is changing, challenging, transforming and growing us... not to mention how it is changing, challenging, transforming and growing those around us, watching us, being shaped and influenced by us... And I suppose if we were to count all the various colors radiating from the prism of our lives - this broadened perspective - would seem like multi-faceted "answers" from the Lord.

And perhaps, with the insight gained from the perspective given - we would - "know how were are to proceed..."

Not sure if that makes any sense or not.....

Any thoughts...?

Otherwise, I blame cause to all 'nonesense' and typos to the lateness of the hour...

Time for Bed...
