Start off with your current strategy but after 2-4 weeks look into doing this elliptical interval workout


i'm 17 yrs old, 5'5", weight about 154 lbs. (last time i weighted myself). i started exercising 2 weeks ago and i have stepped it up today to 3 hours a day; doing 1:30 hours in the morning and 1:30 in the evening. I am also going to try and cut down on flour or breads and on my food portions eating small meals every 2 hours. how long is it going to take me to lose 30 pounds?

On a scale of 1-to-10 with 10 beign VERY HARD is the hard part at a 7?

Hey Adrian! When doing the difficult part of the interval workout with an elliptical trainer I work at 16 miles per hour for 30 minutes is it right or do I need to speed up?

This doesn't seem too accurate for me. I worked out today and it said I burned 720 calories during my 60 minute workout, so if I did that every day in conjunction with other exercise how much weight would I lose then?

Just do shorter (about 20-to-40min) but more intense intervals 3-to-4 times a week to keep the fat off


hi! Adrain do you think my elliptical or interval video (45mins)would be better to do. to keep fat off and not gain to much weight .because im build a bigger butt and thighs and i havent really been doing any cardio at all . and how long and how many days . because i dont want to lost my butt and thighs .i've been doing the protein and eating a lot more like you said. and it really works so thank you so much

It depends on how overweight you are...

the more overweight you are = the faster you will lose weight


i want to lose 20 pounds. If i do 30 minutes on the elliptical 5 days a week, do you think i can lose that within a month?

I've been working out on treadmill/elliptical for several weeks now and haven't seen any major progress in terms of weight loss. I consume about 1500-1700 cals per day and exercise 30mins/2miles (various settings - hills, random, etc) 5-7 times a week. Yet, I've only lost about 5lbs in six weeks. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

It'll take you up to year probably to lose 80 pounds and YES...

Omega's will help with weight loss but not by a pound a day


i work out on my elliptical everyday for close to 60 minutes and i do strength training too, im getting great results right now, i am down 16lbs. i am 5'7" and 246 right now, i want to lose about 80lbs, how long do you think it will take and how much more will i have to work out on my elliptical to keepp getting these results? o, and i heard that if i ate 40mg of omega fats, like peanuts, i can help speed up my weight lose by 1 pound a day, is that true? thanks

You can expect those results for 1-to-2 months maybe but after a while...

You may need to do 1-thru-5 here to keep getting weight loss results


If i do my 120 mins on the elliptical in two 60 min sessions (1 in the am, the other @ night) will i get the same results as the weight loss calculator suggested. I'm 5'6 and 203 lbs

Either one of those products will help you lose weight by cleaning waste out of your body but you can do the same thing without spending any money by eating more weight loss foods like fruits & veggies


Do you recommend taking colon cleanser like Bowtrol or Dual Action Colon Cleanser (I'm not sure if they are healthy and which one is good) beside working out. I don't have problem with bowel movements but I've been told that they take out mess from your stomach and you will lose weight. What do you suggest?
