Hi, U have put together a nice page about belly fat BUT, please correct number 11, it is just such an untrue, silly statement. U might have misunderstood the research but fat does not make hormone. Not a single one. neuropeptide Y is a neurotransmitter en it is selected by the hypothalamus of the brain. It does increase food intake but it does nothing to do with one area of the body (belly).

#1 - decide how many calories you will eat daily to lose weight and

#2 - divide into just 5 meals spaced out 3 hours apart and...

#3 - if you still get hungry - snack on veggies and fruits or nuts


I want to thank you for this website. I am 31 years old and was 304 lbs. I have lost 12 pounds already in one month and I am super excited. I don't want to take diet pills or go do a gastric bypass and I am determined to do this. The only thing I am having difficulty is... I wake up @ 7am and take the kids to school. I eat breakfast around 8 am and then I eat half a sandwich @ 10:30 am Lunch @ 1:30 and at 4:30 I eat another small meal. I go to the Gym @ 6:30pm and I do Zumba or cardio for 1 hour Monday thru Friday. So I get home around 8 pm and I am obviously very hungry but everyone tells me I can't eat at that time. Is this true? what can I eat since I really have not had any dinner yet. Sometime I have to eat. I am still losing weight but will this affect me eventually. Thank you, again...

I started exercising four days a week doing 45 min of strength training followed by 15 min of cardio.. Ive been doing this for two weeks and find that ive gained two pounds..I used to be able to lose a pound every week doing this. Im 5'1 and 123 pounds.. I eat healthy except sometimes ill eat pasta or pizza for lunch cause im a very picky eater. Is there something im doing wrong that im gaining weight. Im also on birth control so could that be another reason why its harder?

Well, I'm 14 years old and I'm a tad over 200lbs. I'm tall, so the fat isn't all bunched up in one area, it's spread throughout my entire body. But I still know I'm overweight. I'm totally inactive, and it's hard to stop being inactive.There's a lot of detail as to why I'm overweight. Comfort, boredom..you name it. I have absolutely no self confidence, or dignity. I've tried to lose weight several of times but never stuck to it. I just want to lose at least 60lbs or even more! I really need tips on what to do, how to do it, and how to make weight come off fast.

It's best to workout first in morning before breakfast but either way = you'll lose weight


Im in high school so for the summer i wake up really late so do you think i should wake up to eat breakfast early and to the exercise where you run back and fourth?
