I also have another question regarding the popular ACAI berry supplements.
Do you know of a good ACAI berry product? or know of a specific brand that you or your friends trust?
I'm thinking of using that to help burn more fat even faster. I have done very limited research but most of them point out that a lot of these ACAI products have very low ACAI berry content and some even use the roots as fillers. (To my knowledge the roots have no effect towards fat burning or overall health improvements.)

Hi I'm 24 years old and planning on joining the Army. I'm right on the line for the body fat percentage and currently on a diet and I have been exercising at least every other day.
I want to thank you for the exercise tips on your website especially the belly exercises, I love how comprehensive and how you give us tips to make the exercise easier or harder to make it more effective for me.
I plan on getting a yoga mat some time this week and doing the "quarter under your belly" every time I'm staring at the TV.
But on with my question:
"Is Beef Jerky a good snack for someone on a diet?"

I need help with breakfast meals ,, I like to feel like I have a solid stomach I use to depend on muffins, bagels... I eat oatmeal all the time , I'm over it. Hey all,
Loosing weight is such a big thing now a days, but here are a view tips which might aid ya's in loosing fat... k, one, stop the consumption of Pop, Juice (except for those which are not from concentrate, and only a cup a day), Coffee (except in my view a really good espresso, which boosts metabolism), no more Alcohol, ready foods in a bag or cardboard (such as chips, granola bars, fruit cups, etc), skip out on Yogurts which have a long ingrediant list. (such as Activia, Yoplait, Denone, etc) the best one out there are the Biobest, they are full of natural ingrediants and good bacteria. Stop going to any sort of Chain Restaurants of all kinds. Stop eating white ingrediant products such as White Pasta, white bread, white rice, white potatoes, etc... Skip out on Bread, especially those bought in bags in Grocerie stores, the best bread if you do eat bread is your own home backed bread or bread from a bakery, and bread only made through buck wheat and whole wheat flour... same with cookies and stuff... no gorcerie or chain restaurants, make your own, and add flax seeds, nuts and make your baked goods if you do make baked goods with unsalted butter, (not shortening of any sort!!) whole wheat/ buckwheat flour, brown/organic sugar etc... im a huge sweet tooth, so for dessert i eat a yummy apple with honey, or A row of Lindt chocolate... hmm what else... i consume the least amount of dairy products as possible... too much dairy a day, makes me constipated and tired... so the only dairy i consume is yogurt, i get my calcium and magnesium from Soy Milk... i make my own snacks from raisins dried apricots, different nuts, etc. Eat your daily fruit and vegetable servings, EXCERCISE at least every second day for an hour, get your ass moving and your heart pumping, you wont just feel good, but you will also sweat out toxins. Yup cereal i do eat, but only if they are made with as little ingrediants as possible and i usually consume All Bran Buds, All Bran Kellogs products, etc...
Remember, your body and longivity will thank you if you feed yourself correctly, you should see a change in fat loss in at least two periods, do active stuff which is also fun for you, dont let yourself starve and do eat your last meal at 6pm no later, if you go empty bellied to bed, the better... drink up to 3L of Water a day, and start now through emptying all your cupboards of trashie food.... good luck...!! hope this helps, and oh yea remember this, Eat a big breakfast full of good stuff, (fibre, fruit egg; protein, soy milk, etc) Eat Lunch small, and Supper just two handfulls....

I am 45 years old, 6' 1", 210lbs. I've dropped from 250lbs using low carb and fasting. My stomach still retains the look of a woman about to give birth. I have lost the weight mostly in my extremities. I'm trying to lose the fat in my stomach while putting on weight everywhere else. I have been told that my calorie intake should be 2300 and only about 75 of those from fat. My normal diet is well below the what my body requires so I've taken to Protein powders, amino acids, glutamine, creatine, chromium picolinate. I have been hitting the gym four times a week working upper body two day and lower body two days. I work my stomach all four days. I believe that my problem is due to a low calorie and high (bad)fat diet. Can you tell me if you agree, and if so, what types of food have a high calorie and low fat count that I can add to my diet.

hey! there are so many ways that ive tryed to loose weight .. running, walking. sit-up . jumping jacks .. and the best thing that ive seen helped is fish and chicken with a veggie and usually rice .. also for the work out the best results ive gotten was intense inter-course with my husband 7 days a week. I eat a lot of fruits sometimes i check my caloric intake for the day and its up to or over 2000 calories. Most of is fruit. My diet is practically fruit is that bad especially if i go over 2000. I eat at least 10 fruits. bananas apples mangos grapes and oranges are like over 100 calories cause theyre big portion.

Hi I'm 35 5'4" and weigh 170 lbs after being pregnant 10 times in 12 years (5 miscarriages, 2 later term, and 5 beautiful children). The last full-term pregnancy ended 18 months ago, but I went through tremendous stress, stopped eating very much and got down to 155. But then I had to eat normally, about 1700 calories a day and gained weight. I've struggled with an eating disorder off and on for years and most recently didn't eat more than 500 calories a day for weeks and lost 10 lbs in 2 wks. Because of health concerns (I was passing out and weak) I'm attempting to increase my calories and have been able to for a week now. I'm up to 1500 calories per day. I don't want to gain any more weight. My goal is to at least get to 135 lbs. What would be a decent calorie intake for me that would not cause me to gain weight? How much exercise should I be doing?

Hi, I am 21 yr old female and I weigh about 130 and I am 5'2 in height. I was around 125 in high shcool then I gained up to 165 after two pregnancies and lost it. My overall appearance seems fine, but my stomach, there is where most of my fat is located. I heard that if you lose weight it will come off all over and firstly your breast and that is what happened to me after I had my two kids. So basically I don't want to lose anymore breast, but target the fat on my stomach and build muscle there and tone my buttocks area and breast and everything else is fine. Help Please!!!!

Hi Adrian,
I have been on a very healthy diet (proteins, vegetabels, complex carbs and lots of water) but recently I felt bloated and sort of constipated. Then I noticed that on days that I ate 2-3 cups of air popped popcorn (45 calories)later in the evening made a huge difference next day. Would my diet get ruined if I add air popped popcorn as a source of fiber? I saw somewhere here on your site to avoid popcorn if you want to lose weight, I don't use oil thought.

I am 29 yrs,male,5 feet 6inch, 190 pounds. My calorie intake for a day is around 1400 spread across 4-5 meals. To loose weight with target at 165 pounds, I started doing exercise 2 weeks back and am burning around 600 calories a day 4 days a week through cardio. Is this fine? When I check in Calorie calculators it says to reduce weight I can still eat upto 1900 calories a day..Does taking less calories a day resist weight loss??

I am 5'3, and because he has me on five small meals daily, I really don't think I am getting enough calories. I still feel sluggish and tired sometimes. I would say I get in between 1200-1400 calories per day. I absolutely love the elliptical, but I think my body is getting used to it. I also do the low bike and treadmill. I'm asthmatic so I can only do so much at a time, but I've been pushing to do a bit more each time...

I am 35 and have lost 9 pds on a carb cycling diet my trainer has me on. I begin with egg whites/oatmeal daily, along with two snacks of yogurt on days 1-2, and protein for meals/snacks for the next 3-6. An occasional green salad or veggie rounds out the diet. The problem is I seem to be stuck at 182. I mean getting beyond the 191 has me excited, but it's been two months and I know I should be able to lose more weight. I do cardio and weight training 5-6 days per week. Any suggestions?

I am not overweight but I am always craving for sweet foods and can't seem to get away from it.I have tried some excercise and felt very drained and exhausting.I would want to brun some fat and gain muscules. I want to maintain a current diet plan so what shall I do.

Hey
I need help! I would like to lose some weight. I am 19 years old, 5ft6 and 162 pounds. I have a bit of extra weight on me but i dont look overweight. I have a bit of extra weight on my stomach and thighs and a gigantic butt! I used to be 9 and a half stone when i was 16... I just want to lose the extra bits and tone up...what do u suggest? I also love eating lots of chocolate and fried chicken etc...Help!! I jst want a easy to follow diet and exercise plan.

Hi, I am 28 yrs old, mother of 3 girls.. I just had my last baby she's 6month old and I havent lost weight at all.. I was 140 before getting pregnant...I was loosing the weight that I gain with my now 2 1/2 yrs old... I went from 140-thru 218pounds... my hight is 5.3 and I am 27yrs old... I have always been 125-130... can you please help... I feel very sad....I dont know what to do...
