I'm 15 and about 5'5". I weigh around 165 pounds, but I'm not chubby. I really have the body of an athlete, which would be great if I was a boy. Anyways, I'm a mix of muscular and curvy which is nice, but the muscle has really affected my thighs and legs. People have often reffered to my legs and thighs as tumors, or they said that I must have been a horse in my past life because I apparently have the legs of one. I want to know if there's anything I can do that will really affect my thigh size to make it smaller, and an effective workout that can make me lose 10 pounds?

I'm 5'4" and i weigh 118lbs. I've recently lost 50 lbs by working out on a treadmill and an exercise bike at home but after all this, i have thighs that are very wobbly as well as arms that are excessively flabby and look ridiculous. Will this exercise be efficient to tone up the inner thighs and would it work if i do it without cardio exercise as well because i do not want to lose anymore weight. You don't need to lose any weight but you can certainly do the inner thigh exercises here using less than 5 sets doing 8-to-12 reps of 2 inner thigh exercises to make your inner thighs look thinner

In my NON-professional opinion - I think it's safe for you to do the inner thigh exercise kicking the box but I still advise you to talk to your doctor about this

I have read all of your thigh slimming excercises and want to ask if the one pushing the box with weight in it is safe while pregnate? I am 4 months pregnate and although my weight is fine, my thighs are flabby and I'm trying to tone. I eat low fat high protein 4-5 small meals a day and hardly any sugar.

I would do more direct inner thigh exercises here to firm up that area and stop the jiggle


Hi Adrian, I seriously have really big thigns,inner part is like jello. I do 5 hours of cardio a week, high intensity, alternating running, elliptical, walking at 10% incline/4.0mph, spin class, have been doing this for 5 years; I quickly lost 30 pounds, am 5'10", 150 lbs, size 6-8. I have increased the intensity and length of training over the years; my upper body gets skinnier and skinnier (my chest ribs show like pictures of anorexics)yet the thighs don't change a bit. Stairstepper kills my 48 year old knees. I also do leg presses with 150 lbs, some leg extensions and curls. The trainer at my gym was really stumped. Please, there must be something!

This seems like a really helpful workout. I am nearly 16, 112 pounds and 5'10". there's no way you can really duplicate hill sprints in the gym but...

If your goal is fat loss + leg toning...

While you're losing weight - you can just do 2-to-3 of these leg exercises here 2 times a week and do 3-to-4 sets of 8 reps for each exercise you pick and...

Try to do a different set of leg exercises each week

I don't have access to a hill and it's winter for me(Chicago), how can I incoroporate the Hill Sprints exercise at the gym? Also, with shifting my focus to fat burning(as you've suggested) will that take care of toning the legs at the same time? I've never been much of a runner and have been using the eliptical for my cardio.

You're probably just overstressing minor details if you're only 140 pounds and I don't think you need to lose anymore weight Depending on how tall you are but...

to lose any type of bodyfat - you need a weight loss plan (See NowLoss.com for that)

I've been working hard to achieve my weightless goals and so far, I'm doing pretty well, but the diet changes I've made along with regular work outs at the gym have helped with fat loss. What I need help with, is toning. I know that to keep my skin's elasticity I need to tone with weights; but I'm not sure I'm doing the best I can in this area. I don't know how to properly tone my inner thighs. So far, here's what I'm doing to tone my inner thighs:
-Cable pulls: straight back and across(like in your video)
-Leg press machine: toes pointed straight and out to sides (plié)
-Abduct/Adduct machine: 30lbs w/ increasing reps per week
I've haven't really seen much change and I'm wondering if these are the right moves for me, or should I try to incorporate other machines/moves? Also, is there anything I can do to target my lower inner thighs; more specifically the area around my knees?

to get slimmer thighs - you need to keep losing fat and if you're already 120 pounds then you don't have too much more fat to lose so to lose anymore fat and make you thighs slimmer is going to take a lot of patient on your part because like i said...

You have little to no fat left to lose and...

Why are you worried about getting slimmer thighs if you already look good!

Go here for more thigh exercises but...

those exercises won't really slim down your thighs any (just firm & tone them) and if you're already lean or LOOK GOOD then...

you're probably making a BIG deal out of nothing with your thighs and unless you have some fat around your thighs (which I suspect you have very little) then...

You'll have to lose more weight to make your thighs slimmer and as for cutting calories...

Adrian, I like your work out, very creative and effective. I have a very strong lower body though. I had a one-time trainer and he had me in the gym on the thighs machine lifting heavy weights (l00 lbs and I did it like 20 times), I could lift it no problem but I need them to be toned not huge, but when I do lower weights, higher reps, I don’t feel it. L If I flex you can see muscle, but standing no… Help?

If you use lighter weights - your inner thigh area will tend to look slimmer and firmer and...

Even if you use heavier weights - it's a slight chance you may get bulkier inner thighs because you can use but so much weight anyway when doing inner thigh exercises

I need some weight loss exercises (I need to lose about 15-20lbs) and the rest needs to be toned back up the way it used to be. My workouts (when I can do them) usually consist of tae bo workouts, various abdominal exercises, and sometimes a little bit of jogging. I will also try to do some free weights. In regards to fitness, do you have any recommendations for good and effective workouts for a medical student that spends countless hours sitting and studying? I try to work out as much as I can, but I'm either tired from lack of sleep or studying. When I do work out, my hard work gets erased when I go back to sitting in class all day long with no energy being used.
