Hi adrian, I Have gotten my bodyfat to about 9.6% after 4 months of training and have become very lean. But i havnt got the definition i was hoping for.I am still going to the gym 3 times per week training making sure every body part gets trained and i also include 3-4 intervals a week into my training. When i was at the gym this week I got speaking to someone who has been training for some time and he said now my bodyfat is down to a reasonable level i should stop the intervals as this is hindering my muscle building and will stop me from getting the defined abs look. Do you think i should stop intervals? |

Hi,I am 5 foot 9 and am weigh around 154 pounds.I have been following a training regime and eating plan for around a month now and have seen some good results.I have been doing weight training at the gym 3-4 times a week and around 4 steady state cardio sessions a week.i am trying to get rid of that last bit of gut so i can get defined ab's and a toned body.i am now around 14% bodyfat and have some ab definition but how do you think i should get rid of the last 5% so i can show the strong abs that i have worked for?also when at the gym doing weight training i have been doing more or less my whole body every session do you think i should be concentrationg more on specific muscle groups on specific days?I am trying to eat around 231g protein,154g carbs and 30g fat a day. do you think this is suitable?btw great site lots of useful information and tools |
