manny,
All of the exercises here at NowLoss.com help you build some muscle but you'll get BIGGER muscles if you use heavier weights

Jessie,
Getting a "good" arm workout 2x is the best you can do without overtraining your arms and YES... eventually or very quickly - the 2-to-3 lbs weights will get too easy so you will need heavier dumbells

Would it hurt to do these exercise 4 times a week? Or is twice a week the max? I use light weights, usually 2 or 3 lbs. Should I use heavier ones?

Only do this workout 2-to-3x a week - you must give your arms time to rest to see results

Hi,
I am a girl with huge flappy arms despite the fact that I am not overweight. I really wish to lose these fats around my arms as soon as possible. I was wondering can I do the routine to lose flappy arms everyday? If I did the routine everyday will I get big muscular arms which is not so eyes pleasing? Thanks alots...

Nicole,
Go here and read how to break out of weight loss plateau to troubleshoot your weight loss problems but...
The main thing that jumps out at me is the fast you've only been eating 1200 calories a day for a long time -it's nothing wrong with that it's just that after a long time of eating a lower amount of calories your body's metabolism gets smart and slows down to acomondate for the low amount of calories you eat so in your case...
Eating low calories isn't going to help you lose weight as fast or not at all so what you need to do is focus more on exercising smarter by doing more intense exercises for shorter amounts of time so you need to do more intervals or or fast weight loss workouts like this and...
You may want to eat up to 1500 calories for about 10 days to train your bodies metabolism to burn more calories and you also should try eating differnet types of healhty foods to lose weight but read "how to break out of weight loss plateau" first to see if that helps and...
if none of that works - contact me again and I'll see what i can do to help you get back on track again losing weight

I started at 291 lbs at 5'3 and am at 211 lbs currently. By eating healthy foods, 1200 cals/36 g fat a day, and frequently eating.... I have lost 80 lbs since Oct 07. My problem is that my weight has not budged for over 2mths now! I work out 3-4 per week. I run on the crossramp OR Eliptical about 30 min w/154 heart rate average. And I do strength training exercises w/weights and a yoga ball afterwards for about 20 min. I heard by changing your routine and cutting back on the exercise would help, but I have done that and seen no improvement. I used to workout 4-6 times a week and the treadmill or bycicle as well. How can I change my diet or exercise routine according to your videos in order to see results again? I am losing steam.
Nicole
P.S. How can I incorporate the tricep exercises and various crunches into my routine without overdoing it. I have a lot of loose skin and I really want to target my stomach and arms. I do quite a bit in my strength training exercises, but see little results.

Hey I just wanted to say thanks because it's hard to find sites these days that have exercise routines rather than "Buy these amazing weight
loss pills" "buy these meals for just 50$ a month" blah blah blah I'm 13 and i want to lose weight safely and i don't want to spend 200 dollars on a gym membership or on gym equipment so it's nice to have someone like you with this site where you CAN learn to tone parts of your body or lose weight so anyways THANKS!

Tracy In Tennessee ,
There's NO EXACT weight you or anyone else should start with - you just need a weight based on your fitness level that's going to challange you so basically...
Pick a weigh that's not real heavy and please... DONT pick a real light weight and generally...
Most women I've trained get a good workout from using 8-to-15 pounds but...
Remember to increse the weight if it gets too easy

I have started exercising & eating right and have lost 41lbs so far. I have watched your videos about the flabby arms but is there a certain weight pound I should start with?

Alex,
Seeing results mainly depends on your fitness level (and other factors) but generally... I would expect to see your arms toning up after the 3rd-to-5th workout but remember - the key ingreadietn to truly removing arm flab and the flab/fat from all over your body is a good diet &/or exercise program
which can be found here for free at NowLoss.com
Here's 2 of my pushup videos...
1. Do push-ups using board games
2. Ding push-ups with chairs

Thanks so much for these videos! I'm trying to tone up my arms for my wedding and you make it realy clear what each excerise involves. I'm just wondering how long it takes to see the results? I also wanted to find out how to do the perfect push up? I'm not clear on where your arms should be in relation to your head?

Natalie,
I'm not a doctor nor have i heard of pantrapezial arthritis but what I can recommend for you to tighten up your forearms is to hold onto something heavy (without dropping it) for at least 30 seconds or more - this'll help tone up your forearms or You can do wrist roller exercises but I have no idea if you'll be able to do those things with pantrapezial arthritis

I have flabby arms and forearms. My problem is I have arthritis in my wrist called: pantrapezial arthritis. I think the upper back of my arm exercises I can do without hurting myself but what can i do for that flab under my forearm that we get when we get older?
Thanks so much

The milk jug exercise will be enough but...
You need to do 2 sets using a heavier weight for 6-to-8 reps and then finish your workout using a lighter weight (a milkjug) for 2 sets of 8-to-20 reps and..
Please contact me again if more help is needed

Hi there,
At last no frills information and videos for the hardest part of the body to get looking good.... the arms.I have always wanted arms like Angela Basset (Tina Turner) or Linda Hamilton (Terminator II). Is there and entire program for this. One I can do 3 times per week. Also how long should my weights session be? Is 3 times per week enough or should it be 4 times plus 4 times per week cardio.
