Hi, I'm 14 5'2 and 155lbs. I wanna get down to at least 125 and I was wondering if instead of doing Option #1, I do 10 mins of ski jumps excercise, 10 mins of jumping jacks excercise, 30 minutes of Hula Hoop intervals, and 10-20 minutes of this a day I would lose weight? Also, I have a large bust and I wanna shrink it, what's the best way to go about doing this? I already have a healthy diet because my aunt (who I live with) has a kidney transplant so she eats very healthy, low sodium, lean meat, low fat, sugar free, and no pops or juices. hi im 5'8-5'9 ish and weight 240, i know im in bad shape. for some reason, I dont look 240, i kinda look 190 my people say, i dont have any back fat, i just have stomach. Ive decided i want to go down from 240 to 170, but i have some questions. I try to do cardio. In my garage, I do some punching bag and the run for 30 seconds and rest 30 seconds routine you can do at home. I do at least 10-15 minutes on the punching bag, i make myself sweat till sweat drips from my face, so i guess thats somewhat intense. in your workout plan, i added a twist do it. instead of resting 30 seconds, i rest 15 seconds, and run 30, so basically I run 30 and rest 15 seconds and the max i can do this is 15-18 times. my question is, is this enough? I do this monday through thursday, and rest friday and the weekend, but ive been considering doing this monday tuesday thursday friday and resting wensday and weekends. my biggest concern is if im doing enough, I spend 35-45 minutes doing this, and I do sweat a lot. as for my diet, im gonna start eating boiled chicken, like salad and chicken or homemade chicken sanwhiches, and watch out for the junk food. so my question is, am i doing enough>|?

everybody has a tough time (even me) when trying out new things for the first time


I had been following those advices given on the nowlose.com/50 and i did the losing weight at home workout just yesterday and found that its very exhausting. And within the first 20 sec or so i had to gradually slow down. Its more tough than i had ever expected from the other excercises i did like running up stairs, skipping and playing basketball for a total of 1 hour. Is it common for people like me? But, i am not THAT fat to the point where i would be gasping for air after 5 mins of jogging.Or am i experiencing some unforeseen health problems? Help me.

Adrian, it said my last comment didn't save and I don't see it on the main page, so sorry if it comes in twice.

Basically, I am trying to lose weight AND gain muscle at the same time. However, since muscle weighs more than fat it's hard to set a goal for myself. I will be losing weight by following this guide ( http://www.nowloss.com/how-to-lo...lose- weight.htm ) while wearing a 10 - 20lb. weight vest. I will also wear it while doing many other activities.

My question to you is, while this will help me lose weight, what's the best workout to go with that will help me gain muscle at the same time? My upper body is my main concern, my abs, chest, arms etc. The weight should help me gain muscle in my legs, right?

I am trying not to set a weight for myself considering I want to replace fat with muscle. Since muscle weighs more than fat, it would seem I am gaining weight more so than losing it.

I suppose my goal would be to lose 20 lbs. while toning my body up. If I can lose my stomach, I will see my abs, if I suck in, I can see them already. I just want a firm chest, nice abs, legs and the like.

The weight vest is a good idea to help me lose weight and then doing a small workout should give me the results I am looking for.

I am 16 and 5'10", I weigh 200 lbs. but I am not really fat. I have more of a stocky football player type body. I began doing your running program every two hours (run 30 seconds, rest 30 seconds, repeat for 10 minutes) recently and it's great.

I was wondering, however, if I should get a 20 lb. weight vest to wear pretty much all day. I do a small muscle toning program with dumbbells so ultimately, I am wondering if a weight vest would help me lose weight or gain muscle. Thanks!
