Hi, I'm 4'11 and 85 pounds. My body is pretty proportional but I would love to have a big butt. I'm already skinny so I'm not trying to lose any weight. Do you think the Jessica Biel butt exercise will work for me?

YES - if you've never done anything like this before - it's going to be tough for you and your body at first but eventually it will not be as intense as it was when you first started and to help you ease into things better...

Only go thru this workout 1-to-2 times instead of a total 2-to-4 times


I just started the jessica beil butt workout and I could hardly finish the reps that you suggested to do. My legs are actually shaking with each step I take and its a little difficult climbing up or down the stairs afterwards. Am I that out of shape, or is this supposed to be an intense workout at first? I don't think I have ever worked these areas before.... Is it ok to start with little reps and bump up the amount of workouts per week to get started?

First of all - you'll never get a big butt if you work on your butt everyday because you're not giving your butt muscles time to rest & grow so the best thing you can do is...

Do the Thurs. part of J-Lo workout on Mon & thurs the 1st week and then the next week...

On Mon & thurs - you can do the Jessica Biel butt workout


Hey ummm i was wonderin like do i have to the sprints and that whole runnin thang(Monday workout) or can i just do the Thursday workout to see the same result if i was to do the Monday workout??? What do you think??


Hey Jazzy again which group of exercises besides the hill sprints and runnin will help u get a butt like Vida Guerra faster. I am going to start doin the Bulgarian squats every Monday and Friday and the 3 exercises to get a butt like Jessica Biel & Jessica Simpson every tuesday, wed., and thurs. is that a good group of workouts to get a butt like Vida Guerra fast or do u have a better suggestion.

That's too much but you can alternate and do it every other workout by replacing 2 of the exercises


Can I do this workout and add the Bulgarian squats and the single leg butt bridge? or is that too much?

If most of your body fat is stored in your "booty" area then you're right - you do have to lose overall bodyfat but generally if most of your fat is stored in your "booty" area then you should lose fat from that area first anyway but as for exercises to get rid of your "shelf" butt...

You should try weight loss intervals or Fast weight loss workout #1 or #2 here to burn fat faster to help get rid of your shelf butt & overall body fat

Off the top of my head - the only thing i can think of right now is this exercise here done laying down to work your butt and i would go here and browse thru all my leg exercises to see if you can do any of those without hurting your foot


I wasn't sure exactly where to write this question so I will ask it here. I would like to know which exercises are best for getting rid of a major shelf butt. I know losing overall body fat will help this but I am talking big butt syndrom here. It protrudes way past my back causing a deep curve in my back. I look like a multi cup carrier.

Yes - your thighs and hamstrings will increase in size a little bit but if you want to target your butt muscles only - do these exercises...

1. Build a better shaped butt with a pillow
2. A simple butt toning exercise

Depending on your fitness level - these 2 exercises may actually help your butt get bigger but... Your potetntial for getter a bigger butt using these 2 exercises is limited becasuse you can't really use much resistance with those two exercises.


the workouts seem great...but im a little scared that if i do this to increase my butt size i will develop a large thigh. like the back of the leg muscle i thinks its called a hamstring. would my thigh increase in size by doing these exercises?

Yes you can but... weight or 'how heavy something is' is relative to each individual person so...

What's heavy to you may be light for somebody else but...

To build bigger butt muscles - you want to use a weight that's heavy enough to make you only do about 5-to-10 reps and anything over that may be too much to build size permanently.

How long have you been working out? It sounds to me like you're doing the right things and maybe you just need to be patient because... Losing bodyfat all over takes time and people lose fat in different areas but to help speed up the fat burn on your thighs i suggest you...

Look into doing the J-Lo butt workout since it has hill sprints for fat burning and leg toning and butt building

Even though you only "feel it" in your thighs - your butt is getting a good workout as well but here's 4 things you can try to make you "feel it" more in your butt...

1. Try using heavier weights which only allows you to do 5-to-8 reps

2. Pause for 2-to-3 seconds at the bottom before pushing back up

3. Make sure your stance is wide (but not too wide) - you want your stance wide enough so that when you squat down your legs make a 90 degree angle - basically you want to avoid your knees coming over your toes

4. Push from your heels ONLY with your toes cured up just a little bit.

Just try doing 1 or all of those 4 things and one more thing carla...

Are your thighs mostly muscular? becasue if they are muscular - then the best thing you can do is stop doing exercises for your thighs like running, sprints, treadmills, or bikes and hope your muscles atrophy (shrink or lose size) but... It's best to tone and lose fat at the same time but being only 120 - you probably don't have too much fat too lose and...

I have no idea of or... never heard of uterus detaching while doing lunges and since I'm not a doctor _ the only thing I can tell U is to talk to a doctor about this but in my opinion... I think Lunges are safe and effective for building sexy glutes and by the way...

U can bother me all U want as long as your asking me questions about weight loss and toning up


Hi! Sorry to bother you but I had heard that doing lunges is actually dangerous for women because it causes the uterus to like detach or get damaged something like that is this true? Also another question that I had is that I am 5'4 I weigh around 120 and I really need to get myself toned as well as lose weight ( I do not have the most flattering midsection and I would as well like to tone my butt and thighs) a friend told me that it was better to first lose the weight and then tone while another advised me to tone while dieting do you have any advice?
