Hi, I'm always hearing about how good green tea is for you, but I don't like tea. I do, however, like iced tea. Since a lot of iced tea brands are coming out with iced green tea, I was wondering if it still has all the benefits? Is there a way to distinguish which brand would be best?

I'm leaving this note to those who are reading this... If you can, try doing as I did, and braving the idea of brewing green tea and just drinking it straight: with no sweetener added at all. I figured if the primary thing I consume has no sugar or calories, then this would be only beneficial to me, along with my jogging, stretches, weight lifting, basketball, and hockey. And boy was I right Be brave and drop the sweetener!

Studies say at least 5 cups a day to be effective but you can take green tea diet pills so you won't have to drink so many cups
with green tea to be effective for weight loss, is it better to have like green tea shots as in - more green tea leaves and less water in a small cup - or just a normal size tea cup?
also how many cups minimum and maximum can you have a day?

I have heard a lot about green tea, I am 58 yr old female. I have gone through menopause. I am now on blood pressure pills. I have tried very hard to loose weight. I walk at least 6 miles in a weeks period, I eat mostly fruits salads, and lean cuisine meals. I am not loosing any weight in fact keep gaining. I am close to tears every time I weigh myself. Do you think the green tea will help me? I am willing to try anything at this point. In my 20's 30's and 40's I did not weight over 115 lbs. I am now up to 145 and I am only 4' 11. Please help.
