I don't think you should even be trying to lose weight if you only weigh 147 pounds and male but...

Whey protein is safe for everybody and instead of taking pills you can drink green tea.

I would really like if i could not take all those weight loss pills and such being my age, so you recommend anything to substitute that. Something my parents would go for.

When you lose weight - you lose weight all over your body and no one can really pinpoint where you'll lose weight from but generally...

* If most of your fat is in your hips or other areas of your body - then you'll probably lose fat from those areas first before you start losing a lot of belly fat and vice versa...
* If most of your fat is in your belly area - then you'll lose belly fat faster than you will off other areas of your body

The hydroxycut and CLA are fine but it also wouldn't hurt to add in some cups of green tea whenever you can

One more thing....the weight gain affects my abs, hips and thighs as in my pants are quite uncomfortable. During this time when I am not doing a structured daily work out, will I still be able lose the weight in the abs, hips and thighs?

Thanks for the advice & I will be happy with losing 2lbs/week, especially since I am not able to exercise for awhile.

The 20# was gained over a period of time...maybe a year or so. My weight fell between 110/ 115 & I was physically & mentally comfortable in that weight range.

At 130#, I feel the opposite.

I finished the 1st day of your plan eating apples, brocolli & carrots followed by the protein shake and then a small meal. I find that my hunger level is at a 1 or 2. My total calorie intake today is 1270.

The plan is do-able & seems to control my craving for unhealthy foods especially the bad carbs.
And yes, mixing 8oz of water with the protein powder makes much more sense; I tried the 3oz before reading your response & it was very thick and gummy.

I ordered a bottle of CLA to supplement and taking Hydroxycut caffeine free with green tea ingredients....is this sufficient or should I still drink 5 cups of green tea per day?

3oz of water must be a misprint because you'd have a hard time mixing it in 1 scoop so yes - I would use 8-12oz of water and...

how long did it take you to gain 20 pounds?

The reason why I ask is because you're already at a OK weight you're not overweight and you probably look good already but what I'm trying to say is...

DO NOT expect any fast weight loss results because of your low weight maybe UNLESS...

You gained the 20 pounds real quick then maybe - you might be able to lose that weight quickly but if not...

Only expect to lose up to 2 pounds a week.


If I get a mini trampoline and jump on it for 2 hrs a day how much will I lose in a week,

But does the trampoline help lose alot of weight. I also want to lose about 40 before or later school.

Should I do the mini trampoline every day ??

I started this plan today to lose the 20# I've put on. I am 5'4", female, 130 lbs, 41 years old.

I'm drinking Whey protein by Designer Whey; the direction says to mix 3oz of water with 1 scoop of powder. Should I follow it or mix 8-12oz of water as you instructed?

Also, I strained my back a couple of weeks ago while exercising. I'm not back to 100% yet, so I have not since exercised. However, I do incorporate activities such as cleaning, ironing, parking further away etc. during the day. Will this be sufficient while I'm on the diet plan? Also taking a fat burner per your instructions.

If you're already drinking green tea then you can get away without using hydroxycut and...

You can count the water you use in the soy as your 70oz but...

Remember - you're only 10 pounds overweight so you're weight loss may be only 1-to-2 pounds a week and if this is your first time trying to lose weight...

This plan may work for you fine but... if this isn't your first weight loss attempt...

In regards to a fat burner I currently take 1 hydroxy cut, because any more than that it makes me feel sick.
