Never heard about The Collectors, but I love that "manchester wave" inspired british rock sound (im a huge the pillows fan).
Looking on wikipedia Sawao Yamanaka (from the pillows) made a Collectors "best album"
so I did a quick youtube search on the collectors and came greatly surprised "How I missed this all this time??" hahaha.
This blog surely is a unique insight on the japanese music scene, you can't find such quality info anywhere else on the net. Ken you rock! thanks!

I first heard Hoover's Ooover on Adam and Joe go Tokyo and really like their music. Never heard the Collectors before but I'm liking it. Any suggestions for other British-rock style bands?
