Ramblings...

Wow. Thanks for the warning. I guess there's one I won't try. Sheesh.

So there! ROFL

Good luck.

Would you problem having anything to do with the "brownies and muffins and cake - oh my!"? LOL! JK

Slimquick sounds like Slimfast - complete crap. We must hunt down the manufacturers and have them killed.

Slimquick like many other plans is at best useless... at worst dangerous, expensive and useless.

Never take any product that has a "proprietary blend of ____" that is code for "no regulated amount of ____" and the pills will vary from pill to pill and bottle to bottle.

That being said, if you did cut down as stated, and assuming you are not retaining water, then with or without the SlimQuick you shouldn't have gained anything, and at least maintained.

Have you ever had your thyroid checked? Seriously.

I was gaining 8 and 9 pounds per week - which is physically impossible by eating food.

I'm with Kat on the thyroid thing. Remember me having mine checked? (((HUGS)))

And remember, although I feel like I should duck AND run after posting this, LOL, weight fluctuates +/- 4 pounds normally. This is harder for myself to grasp and frustrates me when I weigh myself.

Do your clothes fit even a teensy bit better?

It took me 6 weeks to jump start my metabolism and see a change in the way clothing fit. That was back in February of 2007 when I started working out 3 days a week doing just the Nautilus weight machines and when I wasn't watching what I ate too closely. That was before the fat free purple cap milk came into my life *gasp*.

I think of you often. Love ya. I want for your happiness!!

Me

Reminds of the year that I exercised 5 days a week and gained 15lbs

First, point in case before I start is that I have regained the 20lbs I lost last summer-fall.

But, I will say this - walking walking walking seemed to do the trick. I started with short around the block and gradually added. I did this 3x a week. A pedometer seemed to motivate me a little more. I had to do it first thing in the morning to get it out of the way.

I was also doing Hydroxycut (lots of water or you get jitters) and a drink supplement 2x a day. I kept it off till my my appetite got the better of me and those wings were just too good to pass up.

I also, after getting off the hydroxy etc, cut out 99% of sugar and salt and continued to lose weight. I really did alot of food research online, especially things I could eat that filled me up but did not have a load of fat or calories (Kashi cereal.....chickpeas....fiber)

Anyway - sorry to blabber on, just some suggestions. Maybe I'll have to blog about this sometime - if I can ever get my fat a** off this damn chair!

I hope I can get back to that - got a 20 year reunion coming up! AHHHHHHHHHHH

Hi, new commenter here.
If you added a significant amt. of fiber to your diet, you're probably retaining water. There's a difference betwen water-solible and water-insoluble fibers.
Don't give up. I'd drink a little extra water(yeah, I know--you're probably about to burst, right?) for a few days.
