Can't TJ make one? Shouldn't be too hard. Give the kids extra incentive to clean by letting them paint it or something? |
Home improvement stores usually have tons of put-it-together-yourself furniture cheap. I'm willing to bet you could find a chest or a closet/pantry type thing for $50. |
Oh, and they usually come in plain white, so you can decorate them however you want! |
Craigslist? Freecycle? Cardboard box? |
Check walmart online. They carry tons of stuff like that. We got my MIL a killer desk...it was cheap and now I have a major case of desk envy... |
I was going to say Craigslist too. A "wanted" on Freecycle often pans out. Do you have Cost Plus out there? They are great for that stuff. That or Pier 1, though they tend to be more expensive. |

Consider perhaps one of the large plastic bench/chests used for decks and patios. That would give you the necessary storage, durability and could always be used later outdoors when the kids outgrow toys. |
Craigslist, freecycle or even a garage sale or Goodwill. A nice big hurkin' dresser would do. Big drawers, flat top. It would work. Then you can put some small bins with lids underneath - and there ya go. Plus, it's extra crafty space to pull out if you need it. Just clear the top. |

That's a hilarious title |
