What a beautiful sweater! I have never used Cascade 220 superwash but I think I will try it soon. And yes they are Mickey Mouse Crocs!

I know what you mean about the aesthetics of garter stitch. What's funny is when I see it in other people's projects I love it, but in mine not so much.

I'm not a big fan of using garter stitch either- it always look s cheap or trashy to me... that's terrible, isn't it! Maybe it's because it was the first thing I learned?

Love the baby sweater! I actually just ordered The Knitters Almanac the other day and can't wait to make it. Thanks for the comment on my blog. I love reading yours...it is quite the inspiration. My baby is not the best sleeper...she is still up 7-8 times a night at 4 months, but we are working on it. I long for the night where I can just knit knit knit while she is asleep. Thank you for the hope!! It is so worth it though...they are just wonderful, aren't they?
That sweater is so beautiful! Thanks for the comment on ariann! It is really such a nice knit. I just measured and I have about negative 1.5" ease. You might account for more ease into it, since the buttons dont button together so well. For my own use, I planned on leaving it open most the time. The two buttons I have pictured close just fine, but once the other once start closing, there are huge openings between them all! gak!
Your sweater is beautiful! I just came across it while looking for some help on adding the underarm stitches. Did you cast on 2X7 on each sleeve and on the body at the underarm? So it would be a total of 56 new stitches added to the sweater? I may be overthinking it! I am a little confused with EZ's instructions. Any help you could provide would be much appreciated!

I love this, colour, garter stitch and all! I think it may have to be my next project out of my EZ books. I've knitted a couple of BSJs and am in the middle of a modular Tomten and after that... this one it is! Your wee baby is gorgeous too!
That's fabulous! I have been dying to make one of those, and you may have pushed me over the edge. I mean, the sweater, not the baby! Although the baby is gorgeous beyond words! (Oh heck, that may push me over the edge there, too, lol!)
That sweater is too precious for words. And a weekend away with the buds, that sounds fanastic!
