Gravatar cute sweater for an adorable baba!

Gravatar What a beautiful sweater! I have never used Cascade 220 superwash but I think I will try it soon. And yes they are Mickey Mouse Crocs! My kids love them!

Gravatar So this is only the beginning of your February Sweater knitting endeavors? Can't wait to see all the mods!

Gravatar The sweater is gorgeous!

Gravatar it looks great! i love that color, it's so vibrant!

I'm planning to make this sweater for my niece-on-the-way, just waiting for the yarn!

Gravatar Looks wonderful! The color is great and the buttons are too cute.

I too have thought about modifying this into a cute raglan sleeve sweater. I have friends expecting in July and am going to try something along those lines.

Gravatar Ah... again, a super cute post. What is it about the proportions of baby sweaters that is so appealing? You did a great job on it, both in color and execution!

Gravatar oh! it's sooo cute! I have that book.. I should take a nother look at it.

Gravatar That is a sweet little sweater! I'm with you on the garter stitch though...and I really love Linda's version with the stockinette :D Wish I had a little girl to knit for...

Gravatar Very, very nice sweater. I've been eyeing it up for some little ones and I really appreciate your comments on this one. I like the stockinette stitch yoke as well.

Gravatar What a sweet little sweater and it looks great. Pretty sweet baby too. I like that Wren cardigan too. Stop tempting me.

Gravatar awwww the cuteness! perfect cardi/baby match, if you ask me

Gravatar Beautiful knit! Now you have to make one for the little peanut so that we can see her in it too!

Gravatar Beautiful sweater! I really need to get some EZ books.

Gravatar what a sweet gift! the color, the buttons, the lace. she'll love it.

Gravatar So cute! I'd been wondering about 220 superwash for a baby knit myself. Glad to hear you like it so much! I'm going to try now.

Gravatar The sweater is adorable -- I quite like the garter yoke. And the baby! Gorgeous.

Gravatar That's adorable! I have always liked that pattern. It's amazing how different it looks with the yoke done in SS.

Gravatar What a cute sweater, love the bright springy color.

Gravatar I love the way your February sweater turned out (and thank you for the review of the Cascade 220 Superwash). I think it's the perfect little sweater for the perfect little girl! She is so sweet!

Gravatar I know what you mean about the aesthetics of garter stitch. What's funny is when I see it in other people's projects I love it, but in mine not so much.

Check out the hair on that babe!

Gravatar So cute!!!! The sweater, the baby...it's all so cute!

Gravatar This looks great! Difficult to do?

Gravatar Lovely!! I think I'm going to make this for another baby shower I have coming up. SO cute!!

Gravatar I'm not a big fan of using garter stitch either- it always look s cheap or trashy to me... that's terrible, isn't it! Maybe it's because it was the first thing I learned?

Gravatar oh it's so adorable! perfect color too

Gravatar What a lovely sweater - and what a precious, precious baby! Big Blue Eyes!

[I just got some Cascade SW too - it seems really nice - most of the time I run far away fast from the SW but don't it look fine in your pix!]

Gravatar Love the baby sweater! I actually just ordered The Knitters Almanac the other day and can't wait to make it. Thanks for the comment on my blog. I love reading yours...it is quite the inspiration. My baby is not the best sleeper...she is still up 7-8 times a night at 4 months, but we are working on it. I long for the night where I can just knit knit knit while she is asleep. Thank you for the hope!! It is so worth it though...they are just wonderful, aren't they?

Gravatar That sweater is so beautiful! Thanks for the comment on ariann! It is really such a nice knit. I just measured and I have about negative 1.5" ease. You might account for more ease into it, since the buttons dont button together so well. For my own use, I planned on leaving it open most the time. The two buttons I have pictured close just fine, but once the other once start closing, there are huge openings between them all! gak!

Gravatar Your sweater is beautiful! I just came across it while looking for some help on adding the underarm stitches. Did you cast on 2X7 on each sleeve and on the body at the underarm? So it would be a total of 56 new stitches added to the sweater? I may be overthinking it! I am a little confused with EZ's instructions. Any help you could provide would be much appreciated!

Gravatar Such a dear little sweater! Hope the Peanut is feeling better...she sure was a cute little Easter Bunny, though!

Gravatar Gorgeous sweater, it looks great in that color. What a beautiful baby!

Gravatar OMG, that sweater is beautiful! And the baby is adorable - the two together will be too much sweetness! I hope we get to see pics of it on her.

Gravatar I love this, colour, garter stitch and all! I think it may have to be my next project out of my EZ books. I've knitted a couple of BSJs and am in the middle of a modular Tomten and after that... this one it is! Your wee baby is gorgeous too!

Gravatar That's fabulous! I have been dying to make one of those, and you may have pushed me over the edge. I mean, the sweater, not the baby! Although the baby is gorgeous beyond words! (Oh heck, that may push me over the edge there, too, lol!)

Gravatar That sweater is too precious for words. And a weekend away with the buds, that sounds fanastic!
