Gravatar can't wait for tangled yoke cardi pics.

I remember what it was like in Seattle... I think one time it rained for 90 days without break! But I don't remember it being that cold all the time though..

hm... perhaps Kate Gilbert's felted tweed beret pattern in Interweave Knits? Or something with a spiral pattern with yo's?

Gravatar That yarn is lovely! It will have to be turned into something special indeed. All I know is the lacier, the longer yarn lasts, but I don't know how that would play out with the beads. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

There's the Purl Beret, which is a very basic beret (and the pattern is free). It's on Ravelry.

I hope you get some sun soon!

Gravatar I know so many people who've been saying they've felt mopey or super tired lately. No wonder, with that lack of sun! I'd just love a little bit of warmth.

Both the Purl Beret and La Parisenne beret are made with sock yarn, and they're both cute!

Gravatar And sometimes, I do NOT miss living in Seattle!

The Purl Beret (they knit theirs in Koigu, 1 skein, seriously!) is pretty cute in its simplicity.

Gravatar I was going to recommend the Purl Beret too. I'm visiting Seattle in the summer - I hope there's a bit more sun then!

Gravatar I am so over winter. And we are supposed to get more snow this week! ugh.

It's funny, but I don't really wear my knitted socks, either I thought I was the only one.

Gravatar It's so strange but the weather has now become a part of me. I miss the rain when it hasn't been around but I am looking for Spring to come on full blast. Wasn't Saturday awesome! We got to 80 degrees!!
