Gravatar Yo Geno, you're right about Joe Pinto "coining" the phrase, "Hybrid Realtor"... wonder if he is truly the first. Should patent it (see Pat Riley and "Three Peat"... geez, his attorneys just called).

Great post and I hope agents are reading... CHE is the place that embraces using technology and mentoring to actually learn how to ADVOCATE and CLOSE real estate for clients!

Gravatar Hey Gino,

Nice blog! I'm going to link to you from one of my website pages so Trad Realtors can see how a Hybrid thinks and acts. If Ardell says you're a goodfella, well that works for me.

The Executive Director from the Seattle Assoc of Realtors just moved out there to become the Executive Director for your Realtor Assoc. You have inherited a very professional and well regarded woman. Ginger Downs.

Best regards,

Gravatar I hear ya, Geno.

You are nearly telling my story word-for-word.

Here's wishing you and yours a Happy New Year!

Gravatar Great post, Geno...one I'll point to from my blog. Our Houston Association of Realtors has 25,000 members and the lion's share of them stick pretty close to the business model of Cadillac lady from your story. But many of them that I connect with electronically are starting to get it.

Gravatar Yes, SOME people are starting to get it in this biz. I've worked closely with 'traditional' realtor's over the last couple of years serving as president of my local Association. Many of these people aren't going to know what has hit them.

Embrace change... not the MLS book. It's good for us practitioners, but more importantly.. it's good for our clients.

Gravatar Great blog. Great post. Glad I stopped by. If you wait 15 minutes you'll see you have new link love on my site.

And about the MINI. I have one, too. Talk about a conversation piece with the clients. My clients generally drive me around...in my own car!
