First, enjoyed the artice but have to take issue. I agree on why listings linger on the market, as some (not all) are overpriced.
What I disagree with is the sentiment that experienced agents walk away from overpriced listings and newer agents don't. What I have seen is the experienced agent saying "hey, junior agent, if you want to be successful, walk away from those overpriced listings", only to see an "experienced" agent take the listing at an inflated price at a later date.
No hard numbers, just careful observation of some key listings in my office.
