Gravatar Wow that is a great one we own a maid service in South Florida http://www.suncleaninginc.com and we have major issues with stainless.

Make sure you provide your maid service with cleaner or have them use JUST the paper towel as above....or you may be in trouble. Make sure you use the manufacturers recommended cleaner.

Gravatar You know what else works great on stainless....mineral oil! Yep, I know it sounds weird, but wipe it on and watch how it's harder and harder to get fingerprints to stick.

another good one to clean stainless that has goop on it, WD40 - again, sounds strange, but give it a try.

Gravatar As owner of two residential cleaning services, I would strongly recommend to not use steel wool at anytime.
At Atlanta House Cleaning we have learned from
other competitors mistakes. I can't tell you how many times we have gone into houses with stainless steel
appliances and seen first hand damage caused by steel wool. A lot of times, even if a customer sees steel wool in a cleaners working kit, they will immediately blame any damage that may have been there previously on the outgoing or new coming company. For that reason at Atlanta House Cleaning
we have decided to forbid any steel wool use at all. If we notice it in customers house, we cover in in depth and actually have them sign an agreement that existing damage was already there if we spot anything. Lastly, we also recommend that only stainless steel cleaner be used on appliances with ss. Otherwise you are taking a big chance on scratching or reacting in an unanticipated and damaging manor.
