Strangling North Dakota with no mercy

PETA puts out a film called Meet Your Meat that pretty much will make you a vegetarian if you have any charity in your heart. As far as milk goes, the hormones given to dairy cows strips the calcium from their bones and cripples them. How cruel will humans get to make more money? I don't think there is a limit.

My ex-wife was an animal rights activist. I attended animal rights events to try to save the marriage.
Your post is insightful. I doubt if animal rights activists can make connections very well.

The true hallmark of capitalism is that all living things are to be exploited so that a very few can live a privileged existence.

"If it exists in nature, it is natural."
That's right, and it's also natural for human beings to be exploitive. Always has been, always will be. A human being exploiting animals, nature, or other humans, is no more unnatural than a tiger exploiting an unsuspecting herd of zebras.
Of course, it's also natural for humans as a group to limit exploitation for the common good. But you can only do that within limits. You will never eradicate it.

I was a vegetarian for 10 years, but tarted eating meat in order to not offend some of the people I was hanging out with and who were living outside of the U.S. I think I will become one again. Nice post.
Sorry I haven't been commenting. I read regularly but have been too busy to comment .
