Beautiful words about your children's Pa and your early times together. Sometimes, when you sit very still and concentrate very hard, memories can magnify your grief or joy to a level almost difficult to accept.
Come back when you're ready. xoxo

There is something amiss with blogger and have been trying to reach you since you sweetly visited me. I'm glad things are falling into place. I think it's great when one remembers all that was good about a faied marriage - although can any marriage be considered a failure when there are much loved children? At one time I was almost deifying my late husband and then I came across a note I had written in a wild rage and I laughed and imagined him - somewhere - doing the same.
Give yurself plenty of time and TLC - you deserve it.

Glad, very glad to see you writing and posting for us. It is touching and true to remember what exes have imparted to us and to appreciate it and love them for it long after the relationship has ended.
Salute!
