Oh my...that is pretty disconcerting...I can't imagine what I'd do in that situation. The thought of any police force having that much power is intimidating.

thanks all... you're welcome to my hot dog Clare; if I don't continue it's because I've been enjoying a typical British seaside break- ie in the rain, in a boat, from time to time, off and on the coast of north Pembrokeshire; devouring a lot of lobsters. Could be worse...will continue the less well-fed story shortly.
