Sounds familiar... Some time last year I remember that I painted my kitchen instead of having to deal with a deadline. It is an awful way of keeping busy and feel useful, without having to do what one really have to do.

Yes and I have marmalade to make. That will be the next excuse. And maybe another excuse to avoid making the marmalade too. Does it ever end?
No P, it never ends. It's a personality thing I guess... And it is stupid, because one never gets away with it anyway...

Its amazing the chores one can at long last eliminate whilst procrastinating on some writing project. I guess the trick is not exhaust oneself making sure that every little thing is just 'so' and avoiding the need to collapse into bed and putting off the start until 'tomorrow' (first thing).
Standing up eating porridge? How odd. I hope you stirred it clockwise grannyp, lest ye invoke teh devil [gasp]. And yes, I like mine with dried fruit, yoghurt and some finely chopped mint on top.
oh and, in some of the places I've travelled to, I always found it amusing to be offered, Coffee? Tea? or Nescafe? Heh.
Well blogging has pretty well messed up all my chores as I keep telling my self that I will just look at one more blog & that leads to another & the dust is rising!
Porridge is supposed to be very good for you & stays in the system a long time, ensuring that you don't have to eat as much & helps your figure.
Blast! I didn't think to write a post on the 29th! I will have wait 4 years now. Wonder if I will still be blogging then? heaven help my house by then, if I am!
