Mindfulness.
By the end of the paragraph my mouth is watering.
It's a treat to read how you write.
The mercatos in Milan are awash with cherries large & larger. Scarlet, maroon. I hold with the stem, bite & feel the juice squishing in my mouth.

When I read it a second time it feels different.
Like a preface to something dark that's going to happen next.

Thanks for the thoughts, Kavita.
There is something both very immediate and a little bit ominous about cutting open cherries.

Is it the cherries! Or is it how greenfrogchose to color the moment this time?

Not to sound too esoteric, but I'm beginning to think that time and space and sequence and motion are mind assemblages -- even cherry-colored fingers pitting cherries. Is that what you mean by coloring a moment of time?
