I’ve been working on getting my life on the straight and narrow. Easier said than done, but I felt so… Out of it. I felt like I was going no where even when I was in the Art Institute, so now I’m working on getting back into school and cleaning up my bad habits. Again, easier said than done, but it’s a start. After dealing with the Art Institute, my mom is hell bent on me going to a “real college” even though I’m starting another school. She wants me to use the opportunity to my advantage, so I’m going to work on a degree while I attend this other school. I’ll probably just go for something that interests me like Poli Sci or English Literature. Basically just getting it to get it, but it’s never wrong to learn new things and it’ll keep me under my parent’s health insurance until I’m 25. In the mean time until I start at least one of the schools, I need to occupy myself with something besides bars and beer. Told you I’m trying to break those bad habits.

When I was under my parents' roof, the computer had to be in plain site. I rescheduled the updates simply because I’m just now able to sit down and eat for the first time since yesterday morning, much let alone work. I have two friends from up north on tour down here this weekend with their bands and I happen to be housing them over the weekend. So, my day was spent trying to figure out how to comfortably get band dudes, merch guys, and more to sleep comfortably. I’m excited, but I just haven’t stopped once today and I need rest so I can wake up in the morning and do it all over again and not half-ass an update. My natural hair color is a dark blonde with copper highlights, but I dye it, of course. Right now it's a medium ash blonde with bleached, brown, and copper highlights. SEE! My eyes are hazel, but they're sort of weird. They're a blue-grey with a greenish-yellow rim around the pupil and brown streaks through-out them. A lot of people ask me if I wear contact, but nerp. My usually pretty fair skinned, but I tan pretty easily. Tanning is my guilty pleasure. I pretty much wear whatever I feel comfortable in. Usually skirts and tank-tops, all though I've got that kinda surferish look. I'm really into body modifications as well. I have two tattoos; a flower of a venus-fly trap on my lower abdomen and a belladonna plant on my lower back with my name. I'm really into poisonous flowers. People automatically thought that I was stupid when I left public high school to go into homeschooling. please research diabetes.....yes you can make yourself diabetic even if it doesnt run in your family....its basically your body's cells get lazy from converting glucose into energy from sooo many years of glucose abuse.....look how long sugar (glucose) has been in many diets in america, especially cereal......a lot of people have been slowly predisposing themselves to diabtetes because of sugar, especially as kids eating sugar infested cereal....
the cells are supposed to convert the glucose into energy (through a process called atp) so that it can be burned, and after so many times of opening to absorb, the cells no longer want to cooperate....glucose is poison to the body when it runs through w/o getting converted.....the pancrease secretes insulin to regulate the metabolism of this glucose, and this is why diabetics take shots of insulin, so that it will force the cells to open up and metabolize the glucos.........when the glucose isn't converted, it circulates throughout the body and is basically poison which is why many diabetics have problems with their extremities and sometimes need amputation
you have to regulate a balance of sugar (glucose) in your body so that your cells don't become lazy (like our little nay) and become tired of absorbing and converting the glucose through ATP, which is what gives us energy to live......

My spectacular homemaker plans didn’t turn out as great as I had anticipated them. My own fault thoughl; Dealing with the bank and college really put me in a grumpy gus kind of mood. I should look on the bright side though; My kitchen and dining room look great! Man! The first few days I was home, I could barely drag myself from bed because I was trying to catch up on rest. Now I’ve barely slept in the past two days and am looking at another busy day ahead of me. My mom flies in tonight for a few days before flying back out to go stay with my dad, so I have to pick her up from the airport tonight and I plan on making her a nice Italian dinner and sitting around drinking wine. I haven’t seen her since right after my birthday and she’s a great person, so I look forward to seeing her. I just have to fit in so much to-do’s before I run and get her from the airport that I’m getting exausted just thinking about it.
The trip was great for me and a great way to escape for a bit, which I greatly needed. Since getting home, I feel more focused and goal oriented. Some people go crazy and go to bars non-stop once they turn 21. Nope, not me. I sit at home dancing/singing in my underwear drunk with a beer in my hand and then get ideas to register for my classes and open savings accounts. Maybe I should be drunk all of the time? Regardless, that’s exactly what I did the other night and set up automatic payments for my tuition out of my bank account. I paid all of my bills paid ahead of time so I could have my tuition money put aside and a little extra for books and supplies. I still had a nice cushion as well that I could blow on food, gas, etc. — That’s exactly what my best friend and I did this afternoon. I just want to bring the essentials and maybe even ditch my car since it really isn’t practical in the city. Haha, I’m getting ahead of myself though, so we shall see.

Man! The first few days I was home, I could barely drag myself from bed because I was trying to catch up on rest. Now I’ve barely slept in the past two days and am looking at another busy day ahead of me. My mom flies in tonight for a few days before flying back out to go stay with my dad, so I have to pick her up from the airport tonight and I plan on making her a nice Italian dinner and sitting around drinking wine. I haven’t seen her since right after my birthday and she’s a great person, so I look forward to seeing her. I just have to fit in so much to-do’s before I run and get her from the airport that I’m getting exausted just thinking about it.
The trip was great for me and a great way to escape for a bit, which I greatly needed. Since getting home, I feel more focused and goal oriented. Some people go crazy and go to bars non-stop once they turn 21. Nope, not me. I sit at home dancing/singing in my underwear drunk with a beer in my hand and then get ideas to register for my classes and open savings accounts. Maybe I should be drunk all of the time? Regardless, that’s exactly what I did the other night and set up automatic payments for my tuition out of my bank account. I paid all of my bills paid ahead of time so I could have my tuition money put aside and a little extra for books and supplies. I still had a nice cushion as well that I could blow on food, gas, etc. — That’s exactly what my best friend and I did this afternoon. We drove two hours away to hang out with some friends, BBQ, swim, and then decided to get a very early breakfast on the way home. I drop my credit card down at the end of the meal. It comes back as being declined and I had just checked my bank account. There was plenty of money in there and I figured my bank must have frozen my account for security purposes. I have this habit of paying all of my bills the day I get paid, so depending on what bills are due when, my bank periodically freezes my account to make sure someone hasn’t stolen my credit card number. This I was very appreciative of last month when my CC number got stolen and someone was trying to go on a vacation to France, compliments of yours truly. It gets annoying time to time though; Especially in situations like this. I call my bank account and I get this message that my bank account is -$500. Philly isn't that bad. Like any big city, it has its great parts and its bad parts. I lived there for a bit and still go there for First Friday and concerts. Great amount of venues and they have great shopping there as well. Some of the best pizza I've ever had, has been in Philly. Lovely museums and art district. South Street is a blast, and Columbus Blvd on the water is beautiful.
It really depends on where you live, just like anywhere.

You know what I’ve never been able to comprehend? People who go through out their lives without absolutely no plans, no ambitions, etc. Maybe it’s not that odd of a thing, but it’s just not something that I am able to fathom. I’m not talking about taking a break from school for a year or something of that sorts, but I’m talking about having absolutely no plans for your future at all. No schooling, no job that could really supply a future, etc. I don’t think I could live that way. I think it would be a bit different if time was spent traveling and living each day to the fullest, yet never knowing where you’ll end up. Maybe that’s one thing I could do, but I just could never comprehend sitting around all day and not going to school, having a job …but nothing that could lead to higher positions, and getting wasted day in, and day out. I know so many people like that and I would be in a constant fear if I were in that situation. Maybe I’m envious that others are able to live so care free? Who knows? I just personally couldn’t live a life where there’s no outlook …I would feel lost. Scared.
