One of the things I miss about Dad was a certain smile he would get when something fun was said. For instance, years ago when Dad was playing in Primary, one of the kids said that she was going to marry him. I told that to Dad and I loved that smile he gave; he wasn't expecting to hear that, but I think he was pleased with it. I always love to hear stories about Dad when he playing the piano in Primary. People loved him in there, even the little ones.

Your mom put me onto your blog, and it also brought memories for me of your dad. For years, whenever I called your house, I prayed that your Dad wouldn't answer, until I got to know him, and discovered he had a much different side to him...after that, I called and chatted...tee hee. And you are right...Bob does not snarl, and I love his 'opines.'
