Hoot, there's a difference between normal conservatives and wing nut conservatives. One is more like the John McCain of 2000 (or Teddy Rosevelt), who could have won the general election if the wingnuts hadn't had required him to tow their line.
"Wing Nuts"=Code Word for Christians who are opposed to abortion on demand, especially in the late term.
