Is this is what we waste tax payer dollars on? Prostitution should be legalized anyway. This would never happen in NV.

Spitzer should resign before he humiliates the Democratic Party which is still leaking its sores from the last Clinton scandal. He should make way for the decent and honest David Paterson.
If the Governor's office is the highest in the state, then it follows that its holder should be one of good and impeccable character.
Spitzer should do what is right and resign. Clinton should be ashamed of herself for missing the call and eat crow for accusing Obama of not making tough decisions when called upon. Once again faced with the tough decision to denounce her powerful surrogate for his promiscuity and abuse of office, she opted for the easy and thoughtless avenue; the avenue of no comment!!
Hillary wasted her opportunity for standing-up for her NY constituents, by not calling for Spitzers resignation. Goes to show the kind of poor judgment she would make as the president; worse yet, goes to show the kind of administration she would run; one that tolerates promiscuity.

That's the number two reason why he should step down: this guy campaigned on being a champion of ethics and getting rid the "3 guys in the room" framework that's been hurting NY gov't for years now. He's a hypocrite, much less a phony.

Do you really believe that prostituion should be legalized or is just a talking point? Seems like the legalize prostitution folks never consider much the negative effects it brings to neighborhoods such as drugs, crime, noise, litter, pimps, etc.

Good points! Seriously doubt Hillary will say anything tho until Spitzer makes his mind up, wouldn't be politically savvy. As for Patterson, really don't know much about him, but did a little research and so far he looks to be a much better gov than Spitzer.

The rumors keep flying about him getting to resign and yet it appears that right now he must be consulting lawyers trying to figure out a way to avoid criminality and if he can possibly retain his job. And as far as I know no Democrat has even asked him to step down. I can't imagine him being able to survive this but the double standard with liberals is tremendous.
