Gravatar Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead played one of the strat ones for a brief while - I'd certainly give one a shot

Gravatar Perhaps it isn't so much that the photos of 80's guitars are bad, but more that the guitars are damn ugly...

Gravatar I am looking to buy one get in touch if you have one for sale, I am in the UK.

Gravatar I would like to buy a Casio MG 500 soooooooo bad!

Where the hell are all of them?

How many were made?

How many are in some guys glory days collection in his garage?

Bust it out and put it on eBay so the rest of us can enjoy them!!!

Gravatar I've owned the mg-500 for awhile now. It's honestly one of the best midi guitars I've ever played once you get it configured properly to your set up.

The guitar itself is pretty much a mid 80's era ibanez made in japan and it has a nice sound and suitable for use in a broad range of styles.

The casio midi module is really cool. Unlike the modern roland kits available, this unit does not require a special cable or a breakout box/interface. Just plug a midi cable into any midi in and your set.
