As for that Warwick headless bass.. Can you stand it up with out knocking it out of tune? Does it balance on a strap or sit comfortably in your lap?

Really good photos and an excellent report from what was obviously an interesting show. Sorry that there were some folks (and their instruments) missing, though.

hi i was on the zoot light weight
bass cabs stand. having spoken to many people over the 4 days it was apparent that all were dissapointed at the lack of retail stands as you may know there were non allowed this year. i fear from the comments from so many that if this is the way it is going to be from now on then many will not come to the show next year. it was always a place to see new gear and grab a bargain. i fear for the show as it will just be a trade show, thats why the likes of pmt etc were missing this year. but great pics dont know if i will attend next year shame i have loved it up till now. all the best keep taking them pics

Hi, thanks for that. I did very quickly look at the PRS stand, but must confess that I am not a fan of their guitars at all. I'm sure they're very good guitars, but I don't like them aesthetically and the very expensive finishes just make me think of antique pieces of furniture - look but do not touch. I wouldn't want to have a guitar that I'd be scared to touch. Also, I reckoned most people have seen PRSs before, and I was trying to photograph some different stuff.
