The Nefretiti and Nofretiti? Sounds like something from Carry On Cleo!

Gravatar Strange - despite the vibrato unit self being non-locking the guitar appears to have a locking nut fitted behind the normal brass one.

Also what's up with the pickup angle? It's so extreme that the two E strings don't pass over both sets of blade pole pieces.

Gravatar for some reason i dont understand, i love this guitar

Gravatar Above-noted oddities taken, I think I like this guitar...

There's something right about the 80'sness of it. The pickup and the locking nut are the only things I would question about it. I even have enough confidence in my masculinity (and the back hair to prove it) to appreciate the lovely, gentle color.

I checked out the Pharoah Isis, though - the body shape doesn't work as well in reverse.

Gravatar the first thing that comes to mind is the Dean Cadillac in terms of the body shape.

i agree the pickup angle is a bit extreme, although those X2N style pickups are so strong that it really should'nt matter too much...

Gravatar much too nice a guitar for hair metal... guess this guitar never found its musical style!

Gravatar I think the locking nut is most likely simply being used as a string tree, given the angle of the headstock. I have a virtually identical neck to this one (albeit a leftie) which I once put on a Strat, but the string spread was a problem. I was considering using a locking nut just like this so as to alleviate the problem, even though the guitar had a regular trem. You wouldn't need to "lock" the strings tight, but just keep them secured.

Gravatar I like that shape very much. A different finish would make it cooler still. Perhaps black or natural?
