How deep is the cut out area on the Pacifica? Are you going to have to remove any wood or modify the metal on the bottom of the pickups? The metal on the bottom of the pickups looks as though you might could re-bend it so they could fit in a shallower area. If this was possible, you may could use a plate or something for the two pickups to be mounted to and then screw threw the back of the guitar to hold the plate where it will not interfere with the tremolo.
