Thank so much for sharing this. Hopefully others will read it and "get on the train" for supporting our men and women in uniform who VOLUNTEER to put their lives on the line for us!

Who needs the eye drops called "artificial tears" when I have real ones in my eyes. Thank you for bringing this story to me. True stories are the very best. And those US Marines are a class act!... Voting so they could get more Marines on board the Liberty Limited... I wish I could tell my Dad (deceased), a USMC Veteran of WWII, about this. We'd cry together...And Bennett Levin...what a jewel he is! I loved his ground rules! That's why he's wealthy, he has vision! The Liberty Limited is a reason why he'll be far richer in heaven! God bless our troops and all those wonderful people who help and truly support them!!!

omigosh, I never learn. I can't read you, or Andi, or Blackfive etc on my break at work. The eyes get all wet, and I'm sniffing all afternoon. I'm at home now finishing reading. God bless the Levins, and all who TRULY support our warriors. You included. Thank you.
So many times we see celebrities and politicians, feigning false humility and complaining about not getting the respect of the public.
What you have in this story is a genuine tale of national pride and deep respect.
- Soldiers respecting the country with their service.
- Marines respecting fellow Marines.
- A private individual respecting the service of the soldiers.
- A general, respecting the privacy of the injured, by forbidding the abuse of the event.
- Companies respecting the service of the soldiers.
Every drop of respect was earned. Every party delivering that respect, did so with honor. How can your heart not be filled with love, for a country that is peopled with such individuals? How can we all show respect for those who spontaneously seed these wonderful ideas, water them and deliver the results, with patriotic pride and humility?
