Sound Off on the Nutt

GN - Once again I thank all of you so very much for your continued support at Walter Reed. And, I thank you for keeping all of us posted each week. I always look forward to the update. Your time, energy, committment and patriotism are stellar. Hope to be able to join you all some day.

Great job as always, GN!

Gravatar Your tireless dedication and boundless energy have us all spoiled. There is a saying that means a lot to me…….. “Life only has meaning when you live it for others.” It is what you do daily. Yes the jarheads, and doggies, the squids, the coasties, and the air farce know their jobs, and execute them with extreme prejudice. They are the best in the world, thank God.

Most warriors are not that good at communication with the world and with us back home, except privately. The service that you do with your blog, reaches farther than any of us will ever know.

Yea yea yea I know you got that modesty thing goin ….. but know this, I can brag on ya if I want.

And I want.

Gravatar This is the kind of thing that brings tears to my eyes every time I hear about it. There are more soldiers in my life than I can count and I've made sure that all of them know who you are and what you are doing out there...and to a man they send their thanks and gratitude.
Keep it up GN!

Gravatar GN - It is sooo great to read your blog every day and get a good laugh from it too. If you ever stop writing you'll have to edgnicate me how to write like you do.

You make me proud, thanks

Gravatar Leta - I never tire of going to WR and celebrating the heroes, but I do get further and further behind every week trying to think of new/interesting things to post about it. Thanks for the encouragement - from you it means a lot!!!

linda - thank you from all the FReepers.

jim b - the jarheads, and doggies, the squids, the coasties, and the air farce are the best guys and gals in the world! Its a pleasure and an honor to sing their praises.

FA - I want them to have my gratitude!!! And you, too!!
I haven't done squat.

BO - gee bro, *sniff* thanks!

Gravatar GN - "...but I do get further and further behind every week trying to think of new/interesting things to post about it." I'm reminded EVERY day about our men and women in uniform who continue to do the same thing day in and day out. They do it proudly, they do it voluntarily, they do it so well. And, every day I hear from one or more of them. Often basically the SAME story - different day. My point? We NEED to be reminded EVERY day about our military who are recovering from their injuries/wounds and "we" need to show/tell them EVERY day how much we support them, love them and pray for them. SO.............EVERY week I look forward to seeing the "same old photos" and hearing your "same old story" because it reminds me and anyone else reading that "WE" still care and will continue to do so. You know how much I appreciate all of you for spending your nights outside Walter Reed and how I "feel" like you are representing me in spirit - cuz you are lady!

Gravatar I love these posts!

You guys look *so* great out here. The guys on the bus must just love seeing you all.

What did the cops want anyway? 'specting trouble?

Gravatar Thanks for such a great post!

I've arranged my travel so I'm in town in time to take up some corner space the night before the conference. Trying to figure out how to fit my art supplies into my small suitcase. LOL

Gravatar Wonderful report, as usual, Gunn Nutt! Thank you for the laughs (the Walter Reed story) and the tears (the Soldiers Angels story).
