Go ahead say it

Gravatar I'll add Chris' blog to my roll. You both are correct. Drill, drill, drill those safety rules into your head. Gun accidents are always bad even if nobody gets hurt. I got nailed with bird shot in a hunting accident because an old shooting buddy got sloppy. I can't recall who said, "If you have never been present for an accidental discharge, either you don't shoot much or you are lying."

Gravatar "If you have never been present for a negligent discharge, either you don't shoot much or you are lying."

I have seen at least two NDs, both a result of violation of rule #3. Fortunately, Rules #1 and #2 were followed, so the only damage was to some egos (one of them MINE!).

The FOUR RULES, together with the Golden Rule of Tool Use (If you don't know what you're doing, DON'T.) when followed, pretty much make accidents impossible.
