I'm certainly not saying you or Weez are bogans! Or most of the people with genuine and well-considered objections to the verdict.
It's just the idiots who don't care about human rights abuses until it affects an Australian with whom they empthasise. They're the same people refusing to donate to the Red Shield appeal "unless it won't go to Indonesians" or asking for their tsunami donations back. Those people are bogans, and also gits.
I'm not weighing into the Schapelle debate. My first and last comment is that I can't possibly know if she is guilty or not, but I do feel sorry for her and her situation.
But anyway.
Good luck to R for the procedure, I'm sure it's one of those routine things nowadays. You could look at it as one week with one child a bit quieter than normal 
I am not sure the term 'bogan' means the same over in the west, as it does where you are, Lefty. But over here, being a 'bogan' is more of a lifestyle choice and doesn't actually denote ignorance unless you have a problem with socio-economic groups, which would surprise me, somewhat.
Dear Guruann and all Corby's supporters,
I dont know whether you really condemn the act of terror some of you did to our embassy, or you have a slightly proud and satissfied feeling while seeing that act as a revenge.
I just want to tell you, not specifically to you Mam but more to your fellow supporters, that as a moderate person I'm sick with all of this, and I am now waiting for fear of the fierce reaction coming from extremist fractions in my country. I guarantee you Mam, it won't do any good to Corby's appeal.
Whilst I can understand your feeling about Corby, as you also have a daughter, I hope you can also understand the feeling of parents, brothers, and sisters who lost their dearest ones because of the drugs, like I do. That's why we're so meant with drugs cases. For this moment, let us hope there's no one provokes bad reactions in Jakarta.

I thought a "bogan" was one of two things:
In the 80's a bogan was same as a hoodad who was a heavy duty surf person but dressed in flanny shirts, jeans and (YES) ugg boots b/c they were sooo serious about the waves they surfed in any weather.
In the 90's the term bogan became associated with the generally more nasty element of society (mainly male) who likes footy, beer, cars, etc, etc. Flannelette shirts were also associated with them...maybe a bogan is a shirt???
As to Parmas comments ....well..I have nought against Indonesia nor their inhabitants..it is the system which has erred and failed, no one can really blame the judge(personally) as he has a system to adhere to ..the system of an antiquited Dutch regime which has been inheireted and "modified" the todays "needs". Cannot condone drug trafficing, but is it not better to be headlined for humanitarian reasons than those deemed unfair? Nor do I condone nasty nasty terrioirist actions like mailing dangerous stuff to Embassies...they were not involved. Getting militant and reactionary will not help...but taking people lives away will not bring back those lost to drugs either .
I sent a comment to Weezils about the Shapelle site, to which he gave me a really good response.
However I may also express my feelings here that the site itself (not the forum) incites hatred and xenophobia.
Firstly the name itself 'dontShootSchapelle', then the picture on the top of a firing squad which looks definitely non-European (they wear some sort of turbans was this deliberate?) with the writing: 'Don't let this happen to Shapelle'
Then the over the top emotive blurb:
Twelve brutal Indonesian troopers armed with high calibre rifles. Schapelle Corby, 27, innocent and defenceless girl from Queensland, Australia, shackled to a pole. This could be her fate - all for failing to secure her baggage when going on holiday. This is Indonesia's concept of a `justice' system.
Sorry, but this sort of stuff is not "anti Indonesia" it is very anti-indonesia and I must say has to be placed in the same basket as some of the more unsavoury commentary and reports from the Australian media in recent days.
The forum is different and I know that anti-Indonesia and xenophobic comments are cut short quickly and the moderators are doing a great job.
Well, it turned out to be a harmless scare but they didn't stop the pollies (both sides) beating it up mercilessly.
It was wrong to post the stuff. It was wrong to beat the possible damage up until the material had been analysed.
If it looks like a diversion, it probably is.

How short sighted can you be? Can't you see that this act of "terrorism" was done deliberately by a non-supporter of Schapelle and are trying to make us look like we're responsible? I'm sad knowing that some of you still are very racist as I hope to meet well argument and intellectually stimulating discussion here. Why? How about SueH comment on "the erred and failed system from antiquited Dutch ..and so on". Doesn't satisfy you, doesn't make it a failed, unfair, etc system. Our system is derived from France and Dutch that's still used in many European countries till today. Most or all of you must be in DSS, which I recall in the last discussion some one states that the prisoners exchange will be the end of holliday for Indonesian prisoners. I remember a newspaper from S'pore several days ago tell the story about how wrong you're about prison condition in Bali. About how Corby can be visited by her visitors everyday, can eat what ever visitors bring, even she can own a mobilephone. 7 prisoners per room? how so wrong it is. The picture shown by your media is the picture of a temporary prison before somebody go to the court or before somebody has a sentence. That's why no wonder she tell Kompas that she doesn't want to be transfered to Australian jail!! No make no mistake bro, does it make any sense to you who consider your country including your prison superior? Our prison is surely not as good as the one in Australia. But the system is different. We call it not a prison, but Center of Rehabilitation. Back to the point, some comments are still (you realize or not) racist and anti-Indonesian. I'm sorry Guido, in this point I think you're wrong.
However, I also agree with Guido that your DSS site does provokes people to hate Indonesia by the pics you put there. The name itself DSS which provoke something I dont agree because we dont want to shoot Schapelle. I know most of you are a grown up persons, like me, and some are parents, like me too. And I have no doubt that most of you are moved to help Corby because you have a good heart. That's why I try to have a grown up discussion with you.
For Sunburyman, thank you for giving me a comment. While anger can drive something unnecessarily, I suppose that you couldn't blame the anti-Schapelle for the act of terror to our Embassy since I aware that nobody knows or has evidence yet about the actor behind.
Freedom of speech and expression does not mean that we can express anything! It will be just another extension of terrorism. Also having learned about the attack on the Canberra Embassy, i must say that's an other primitive way of modern man.

Dear all Corby supporters,
This is only a friendly advice from a humble Indonesian who want peace between 2 neighbours: please do not try to ask your government to intervene in this case. It's unnecessary and only waste your energy and money, and I'm sure will result nothing. I know quiet well our system. We separate the executive (government under presiden) and judicative (judicial power under supreme court). So in this case SBY couldn't do anything except giving a pardon. You may say: blah I dont believe the system of 3rd world country. Ok, but this is serious. Now the development of knowledge about law and political system is running very fast in Indonesia, and people know very well the separation of power like this. Maybe there are cases that executive can intervene, but it's very rare and under table, you may call it corruption. But, these cases happen surely under internal high political pressure, not from other country.
So IMHO the only things you can help her are:
1. to get pardon from our presiden. Presiden SBY I'm sure will consider very well this case. However, he couldn't do anything or hardly do something if the political environment is more to unfavorable decision for Schapelle (so please don't ever somebody do something stupid like sending the biological material or bullet to embassy, it can only make my people angry and worse decision for Schapelle). And also, she must confess guilty if she'd like to ask for pardon. Our law states that you must be a guilty person to be pardoned. If not, how could SBY give her pardon if she's innocent?
2. Try to help her to get a reduction of her sentence. She's surely not going to spend her life for 20 years in prison. Only stupid thinks that. She might get remission because of many factors, including good behaviour. You can consult with her lawyer about maximum remission she can get.
3. Make her life more comfortable there. I'm serious about this. In Indonesian jail, you mostly can bring anykind of foods for prisoners, they can also own a some stuffs that impossible to own it in Australian jail. So, I'm sure that your donation for her must be very useful.
4. To free her. Surely not by sending SAS there. the things you can help her:
a) Help her to provide evidences that she's innocent. But honestly I'm pessimistic about this because many hard evidences have been destroyed.
b) Bring people who did it. I'm also pessimistic about this one. I'm sorry. But you must try.
You can copy my advices to Forum Schapelle Guruann. I love to write it myself there but well I don't think I'd like to involve deeply with this concern. So feel free to copy it.
You may wonder why do I so care give you such advices?
1) I care for my country, and I see a bright future for it having good relationship with Australia. Not only economically but also cultural, science, etc.
2) I don't want this future broken just because somebody stupid enough sending bactery to our embassy makin
woops it's cut somewhere, ok the rest is not important. The 4 advices are more important.

parama , to voice ones views on a political, judical, government, or education system without direct reference to the users of the systems and the current inhabitants of the country is NOT RACIST.. It is no different to my comdemnation of my own countries political and judical shortcomings...both are antiquited inheireted from a period no long relevant to today. I'd suggest you check your Oxford for the correct definition...I depise racism and villification so totally reject your accusation. As to us stopping attempts to free Shapelle and prove her innocence, democracy allows for such rights in their basic form and to quote Yoda "Do not try...DO!!!"
SueH, I'm sorry for my irrelevant accusation. About my advice, don't get me wrong, I agree you must DO. But as I know so well the characters of my people, my government, and my country's judicial-political system, I am aware that we DON"T LIKE to be intervened by OTHER COUNTRY. Even if your PM asking pardon to SBY for her, the people who hear it will not like it then make a public opinion unfavor for her, especially Jakarta, dont blame Bali. Yesterday all of media in Jakarta make a headline about the bacterial terror to our embassy. Don't you read that Corby get more stress because of it? Don't you know that now Indonesian people (in Jakarta) become aware about this case? More pay attention of them means that you must do your defence more carefully. Dont blame Aceh and ask your tsunami donation back, again this is: Jakarta.
I read your forum that discuss intensively about prisoners transfer agreement, don't you guys read in the newspaper that she don't like to be transfered? and she protest why she wasn't asked before whether she like or not to be transfered. For me this means one thing: you don't have a good communication with her.
I feel simphaty to her, and who am I making accusation that she's guilty? After sometimes thinking, I realize you guys have a kind heart. That's why I try to give you some advices. If you dont like my advices, I apologize.
