Danny: Deferred adjudication and deferred disposition are probably referring to the same thing. Different jurisdictions may simply call deferred by a different name. Bottom line? Deferred adjudication (or disposition) means the trial judge deferred (put-off) a finding of guilt while placing the person on probation supervision. Thanks for stopping by and making a comment.

1. What if you received Deferred originally, violate the probation by picking up a new charge and sentenced to prison because of the violation.
