Gravatar And here you where so proud of how little you paid? Seems to be a lesson there somewhere Sarge.

I've seen a ton of cheap riders collecting leaves next to the barn/garage/tool shed.

Wonder who makes the good ones. Deere's last, but they are too pricey. IH isn't far behind. Who makes a good product in the US anymore?

Gravatar Paul, I think Charmin is still made in the US.

Gravatar LOL Guy, I ran out of bailing wire on mine, but for a 94 model MTD it has been tough. The deck has had extensive repairs, spindles and later just spindle bearings, the blades take a beating, no sand here, glacial till, and moles to push up those round blade sharpeners. I've welded the deck itself to the point there is precious little unwelded space on it. I can get a free John Deere with a new transmission I installed last year, but it now needs a new engine. Next year I'll likely have to spring for a new machine, just to get away from that lousy cutting deck. I figure that welder has saved me at least $4 grand or more just on the mower costs alone. D'ya reckon we can get a bill through the Osama admin for a new mower? Naw, I'm not switchin' parties either.

Gravatar Watch it old man... You toured a little bit of south Texas in my Ford and had no problems. BWHAHAHHAAA....

Gravatar hell, I got four years out of a 1000 buck rider....250 a year ain't bad and a 150 bucks will get me though another year with it

Gravatar Before you knows it Guy,you will have your own TV show like Red and Green LOL
