I am also a study of history, and I'm damn worried.
I think a lot of folks have already arrived at the same conclusions but don't know what to do about it. I was talking with a guy who, like me, used to be a Republican. He says he isn't going to vote anymore because it doesn't matter. I agree, but he thinks that will have some kind of impact politically, and it won't. I am not sure how an individual can do anything to effect the current slide down hill, but I think it would have to be something very dramatic, and a lot of people would have to be willing to act independently and at risk to themselves.
The only thing now that is going to effect a change is massive protest demonstrations in the streets...the tea parties are already getting the attention of the White House and congress because in fact there are some areas of the country where the elections are actually honest and the democrats can't rig them. We are going to have to use the tactics of the left wing against them...scream loud and long just as they did. I am also using another tactic...if I know for sure a small business owner was in the Obama camp I will not use that business. heh..I am now boycotting my favorite used book store for that very reason and have told the owner why I am doing it...he has lost a couple of hundred bucks year of my business...not much for sure but if a couple of hundred customers leave him then he will be hurting.
We can win. But it is going to be a long and difficult fight and even if we win we may never again see the honey days of the latter part of the last century.But we will be FREE! I had rather eat home grown black eyed peas and be free than eat steak and be restricted every time I want to do something by an overbearing government.

Like Len, I also googled and got to Snoopes. As powerful written as this article is, the author is unknown as it was traced to a post in comments last year at Shrug Atlas.
I read somewhere earlier that obama was the puppet, but the puppeteer is unknown. Russia? China? Sudia? Someone with plenty of money to have groomed him from early on, through college, to the Senate, and to the White House. And can control the major media outlets with 'their' handpicked people.
It's a take over without a shot being fired. I still think it's China. They practice and plan decades in advance to do something.
America, in short order will be a third-world nation, raped and robbed by the "slick willies" with nice smiles.
