I know what you mean: McCain is no Republican. Voting for Barr means that you won't have to hold your nose while voting!
The UK has the same problem. The leader of the Conservative Party is no Conservative.
I feel the same way.
After voting for Regan the first time, by the time to vote came around again I was beginning to think I should have voted for carter (he doesn't deserve a capital letter). By now we might be on the way back up. Barr will probably be my vote if he wins the nomination. I just don't feel like wasting my vote for any of the others. Perhaps not wasting, so much as, leaving a awful taste in my mouth and having to hang my head in shame even if they did win.
