Have you read "The Source."? I liked it.
Yep, Hermit, I have read the "The Source" several times. I rate it as one of Mitchner's best along with "Centennial" , and "Texas". The best I think was "Hawaii" One thing I always liked about Mitchner was that he did the historical research for his books and then told you what was fact and fiction. And his historical facts are always impeccable.
